Calculating the size of marquee you need
Drinks and Canape Reception: 4 square feet per person, with an extra 2 square feet per person to allow for a bar.
Standing Buffet: 8 square feet per person (includes an allowance for some seating)
Wedding Reception/ Dinner Dance: 15-20 square feet per person
Dining Room only: 10-12 square feet per person.
